La performance industrielle est \u00e0 mettre au cr\u00e9dit des \u00e9quipes, engag\u00e9es par ailleurs dans l\u2019accompagnement des communaut\u00e9s riveraines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La production de sables min\u00e9ralis\u00e9s est rest\u00e9e \u00e0 un niveau stable au premier semestre 2021. La l\u00e9g\u00e8re r\u00e9duction de la teneur moyenne en sables min\u00e9ralis\u00e9s sur la zone d\u2019exploitation a \u00e9t\u00e9 compens\u00e9e par la tr\u00e8s bonne performance op\u00e9rationnelle des \u00e9quipes. L\u2019essentiel de la production est compos\u00e9 d\u2019ilm\u00e9nite, la part de production de zircon, quant \u00e0 elle, est en recul de 2 %, \u00e0 28\u00a0000 t,\u00a0et les ventes sont en baisse de 9% par rapport au premier semestre 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un march\u00e9 mondial toujours instable, ces performances refl\u00e8tent la robustesse du mod\u00e8le op\u00e9rationnel de GCO mais \u00e9galement la force des \u00e9quipes commerciales d\u2019Eramet pour assoir sa position de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de la production de sables min\u00e9ralis\u00e9s, quelques ann\u00e9es seulement apr\u00e8s le lancement de ses op\u00e9rations en 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours du premier semestre, GCO a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 son projet d\u2019optimisation de la ressource dans le cadre de sa concession, aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s administratives. Ce projet appel\u00e9 GCO Expansion permettra \u00e0 court terme d\u2019augmenter de 10% ses capacit\u00e9s de production. L\u2019impact \u00e9conomique attendu est de + 20% et permettra de cr\u00e9er 60 emplois directs, et une cinquantaine d\u2019autres pendant la phase d\u2019investissement. L\u2019\u00e9quipe Relations Communautaires a d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9but\u00e9 les enqu\u00eates de terrain aupr\u00e8s des populations riveraines et le dialogue avec les autorit\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n<p>La gestion responsable de la crise sanitaire et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des collaborateurs sont des priorit\u00e9s majeures de GCO. Ainsi, le protocole sanitaire mis en place en mars 2020 fait l\u2019objet de r\u00e9visions r\u00e9guli\u00e8res en fonction des \u00e9volutions de la pand\u00e9mie et des recommandations des autorit\u00e9s locales.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019obtention, en avril 2021, de la certification ISO 14\u00a0001 par GCO, premi\u00e8re soci\u00e9t\u00e9 mini\u00e8re du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal \u00e0 l\u2019obtenir, est la preuve de l\u2019excellence du syst\u00e8me de management de l\u2019environnement mis en place par les \u00e9quipes. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 est engag\u00e9e dans une d\u00e9marche identique de certification internationale, cette fois en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9nergie, en pr\u00e9parant son dossier d\u2019ISO 50\u00a0001.<\/p>\n<p>Le chantier de relocalisation et de restauration des moyens de subsistance de familles vivant dans des hameaux situ\u00e9s sur le passage de la mine a bien avanc\u00e9 ainsi que GCO s\u2019y est engag\u00e9e, \u00e0 travers sa convention mini\u00e8re, dans un Programme Social Minier portant sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation, la sant\u00e9 et l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne publique, l\u2019approvisionnement en eau et le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique local.<\/p>\n<p>En juillet, GCO a livr\u00e9 un poste de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 Diogo-sur-mer qui va permettre \u00e0 environ 3\u00a0000 personnes un acc\u00e8s aux soins, notamment pour les futures mamans. Cet \u00e9quipement d\u2019un investissement de 61 millions FCFA vient compl\u00e9ter le dispositif d\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins mis en place par GCO.<\/p>\n<p>Toutes ces actions renforcent l\u2019int\u00e9gration de la feuille de route RSE de GCO au c\u0153ur de la transformation strat\u00e9gique du Groupe.
